Fairy Tale Creatures Contest!

Hello!
So, how about a contest, guys?
I figured we could do something a little interactive in the group.

Now, bear with me, for I haven't made one of this before.
Ok, let's go!

Theme; Fairy Tale Creatures
Rules:

Must be from a fairytale (Even if it's specific to your country. FInd something old and cool, maybe even something no one's heard about before:
Must have a description of the creature and the name of the story it is from (if the name is in a language other than English, you may use that version of the name, but please also provide an English translation if possible)
Can be a creature from a well known fairytale, or be based off a fairytale that Disney re-did (I.E. Beast from Beauty and the Beast)

EDIT: DEADLINE- Will be announced after five entries have been submitted.
